KARACHI:The Sindh government has decided to recruit 6,000 teachers to overcome shortage of teaching staff in schools across
the province.
The approval was given at a meeting, which was presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad
Ali Shah, in the port city.
Speaking on the
occasion, the chief minister directed to ensure transparency and merit in recruitm
ent.He also announced ban on transfers of the teachers and directed to achieve the target of opening 2,000 new schools in
the province by next month.&
