aid that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stands on ideology and not individuals.
Referring to the eight PML-N lawmakers, who ear
lier today, quit the party and announced to
launch movement for a separate province in south Punjab, Talal s
aid that PML-N is based on ideology and that those who have left the party were not there for support in difficult times.
Speaking to the media, Talal continued that PML-N has no shortage of candidates. “We have three candidates for a single constituency. The party is not bothered by departure of anyone,” Talal added.
Continuing his jabs at the lawmakers, Talal claimed that “none of them would be able to succeed in the elections.” Taking jabs at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the lawmaker s
aid that the Imran-led party “recruits” people.
Ear
lier today, six MNAs and 2 MPAs from PML-N parted ways with the party and announced to struggle for the cause of south Punjab province.
The lawmakers include Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Aalim Dar Lalika, Basit Bukhari, Syed Asghar Ali Shah, Rana Qas
im Noon among others.
Addressing the press conference, former minister Khusro Bakhtiar s
aid that the lawmakers have decided to quit the party and
launched movement for south Punjab’s cause. He added that Mir Balakh Sher Mazari will lead the movement.
Rana Qasim claimed that “without our support, PML-N would not be able to win elections.” He added that a separate south Punjab province would make the federation stronger
