LARKANA: A dispute between an uncle and his nephew over children’s issue claimed li
ves of two innocent women in village Maghyani near Khandu of Warah Taluka in Kambar-Shahdadkot district near here on Friday afternoon. According to details, a quarrel over petty domestic issue between Rahib Chandio and his nephew Hareef Chandio took place which escalated
to the extent that both took out their arms and started firing at each other.
During the exchange of fire two innocent women were hit a
nd both died on the spot. These include 30 year Kurari Chandio and 20 year Mansooran Chandio who were sitting in the house. Both uncle & his nephew were also injured who were rushed by Warah police
to the Warah Taluka Hospital from where they were referred by the duty staff to Chandka Medical College Hospital in Larkana as the
same hospital has no emergency treatment & management facilities being taluka headquarter hospital. The dead bodies were handed over
to the relati
ves of the deceased after postmort
em. Warah police has established a picket in the village to halt further escalation of the dispute. No case was registered till filing of this report and the police are probing the matter further.
