LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that an inquiry com
mittee has been constituted to probe the Lodhran train accident. The com
mittee will submit its initial report within 48 hours.
Talking to media
in Lahore on Friday, the minister said that the train’s driver, assistant driver and the gatekeepers had been taken into custody by the police for the purpose of investigation.

, were killed when the Hazara Express hit a motorcycle-rickshaw near Lodhran on Friday morning.
